Wakamow Valley Authority
The Wakamow Valley Authority is a conservation organization created by the Provincial Government of Saskatchewan in Canada and is dedicated to conserving the cultural and natural resources of the Wakamow Valley.[1] The authorities activities include education, development and conservation. The authority may also appoint special constables to exercise it's responsible and provide peace keeping functioning with the valley. [1] The valley includes parts of the city of Moose Jaw.
The facilities operated by the authority include:
- Sportsman’s Centre a 250 seat historic hall[2]
- Kiwanis River Park Pavilion and the The Kiwanis River Park Lodge - a picnic area and lodge[3]
- Valley Trails and Parkland
